A step toward energy conservation and creation

Energy resources are becoming scarce and expensive as the world’s population grows. Our golf course management is working to increase energy efficiency through waste management, which entails lowering costs and consumption while maximising resource reuse. The club’s goal is to promote pollution-free environmental stewardship that simultaneously addresses the major consequences of global warming and climate change.

Management of golf courses in India has provided the following fundamental directives to help Golf India courses become more energy efficient:

• Mechanical equipment, such as irrigation pumps, should be checked and serviced on a regular basis.

• Provide effective instruction to employees on how to use and operate machinery.

• Creating a healthier turf that uses the least amount of water, pesticides, and other expensive materials to ensure high-quality playing surfaces

• Organize multi-tasking golf-course-related work programmes to save time & expense.

• To save resources, devise the quickest travel routes for maintenance activities around golf courses.

• Appoint a devoted and well-versed officer in-charge who can efficiently accomplish the management goals by routinely employing energy-saving lights, heating devices, or fuel.

• Assess the best use of renewable energy sources. He can track and record the efficient use of energy on the golf course and provide recommendations for improvements. He must also ensure that government recommendations and other recommended steps from other credible sources are followed.
